Obituary of Jean Edna Stuckless
It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Edna Stuckless announce her passing on August 28, 2024, at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre in Twillingate, at the age of 76.
Jean is predeceased by her parents: George and Blanche Watkins; sister Marie (Tom Cooper), and nephew Peter Watkins.
Jean leaves with fond and loving memories her loving husband of 43 years, Ross; her children: Molly (Brent), Paula (Ronnie), and Bradley (Candace), her grandchildren Kelsey, Kennedy, Dylan (Cecily), Kurtis (Kaitlyn), Griffin (Leah), Anna, Claire, and Elizabeth, siblings Joan (Ron) Tripp, Eric (Darlene), Ruth (Calvin), and Goldie (Dennis), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A very special thank you to Jean’s Home Support workers Ruth Andrews and Joan Anstey for their care and support.
Jean was a Salvation Army Soldier who loved her church and church activities and loved to play her accordion, listen to and sing gospel music, she was a member of The Home League and The Songsters as well as a Sunday School Teacher and Jr Soldier Leader.
Jean enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially her grandchildren who all loved Nanny's Chocolate Chip Cookies, she loved to laugh and has left everyone with many joyful memories and funny stories.
Donations in Jean’s memory may be given to The Twillingate Bayview Salvation Army Corps.
