Obituary of Jean E. Barnes

Jean Elizabeth Barnes passed away at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate on Wednesday June 2, 2021 at the age of 76 years old. She was predeceased by: parents Roland and Hilda Clarke; brothers: Junior (Audrey) and Douglas; and brother-in-law Hayward. Jean leaves with many fond and loving memories: husband Harold; children: Kathy (Bruce) Reid, Rosalind (Dan) LeBlanc, Nancy (Duane) Jensen, Kayla (Cory) Stead, Susanne (Ken) Power and Stephen (Devica) Barnes grandchildren: Cole, Daniel, Aiden, Cora-Jane, Matthew, Vanessa, Ashley, Amber, Jeremy and Jordan; Siblings: Dorothy (Douglas), Warrick (Ada), Austin (Pansy) and Bruce (Donna); sister-in-law Verna; as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Harold and his family would like to express a special thank you to Lucy Elliott for her support and kindness shown to both Jean and Harold over the past several years. In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority. At this time, there will be a private family service held at the salvation Army Citadel, Bayview on Saturday June 5, 2021 at 2pm with burial at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Ragged Point.
